Darin VogelDarin Vogel is a Principal, and serves as Senior Creative Director for The BrandBank. He has been executing marketing strategies for small businesses for more than 20 years. As the founder and owner of Vogel Design, Inc. he has specialized in developing and delivering branding solutions for businesses in a variety of industries, including retail, medical, manufacturing, financial services, industrial, professional services, education, and many more. Darin has particular expertise in graphic design, art direction, logo development and commercial print production. Prior to opening Vogel Design, he was the Assistant Creative Director for a commercial printing company in Minneapolis.

Darin received his bachelor’s of science degree in Applied Design and Visual Communications/Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota (1989). He is married with three children and resides in a suburb of Minneapolis.

Matt HaberleMatt Haberle is a Principal, and serves as Business Development & Strategy Director for The BrandBank. Simply put, Matt's passion for business development and strategy work has guided his 20 plus years of professional experience. He believes Marketing's role is to target opportunities, Sales role is to win relationships and Operations role is to keep those relationships for a lifetime. He understands that business results and revenue growth are core drivers in any great plan - and marketing plays a key role for businesses wishing to evolve. "It's an honor to be a part of a company's planning process and bringing energy to the initiatives that drive a company's daily activities. Engaging brands and evolving business for closely held companies is very rewarding". Matt is married with two children and resides in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Tom GradyFor more than 20 years, Tom Grady has excelled at developing and executing marketing communication plans for companies both large and small. He has particular expertise in the areas of integrated sales strategies, brand development, marketing communications, client relations and managing crisis situations. Today he serves as Senior Marketing Director for The BrandBank, where he is responsible for business development, client relations and marketing strategy.

Prior to his current role, he has worked with companies in a variety of industries, primarily in banking and finance, asset management, higher education, medical and publishing. From 2003 to 2008 he managed one of the nation’s largest correspondent banking networks at Marshall BankFirst. There, Tom built and managed a bank sales and marketing team responsible for placing nearly $4 billion in commercial debt with more than 1,200 lenders nationwide. His responsibilities included sales management and marketing strategy, client relations, corporate communications, advertising and public relations. He oversaw a portfolio management division managing more than $2 billion in commercial loans for bank clients nationwide.  During his tenure, he also served as the Marketing Director for two community banks (total assets of $700 million).

Before his banking career, Tom served as the Director of Marketing Services for Deutsche Bank’s $400 billion Institutional Asset Management division in New York.  He occupied a similar role as the head of Marketing Communications for the $100 billion Institutional Asset Management business at Scudder Investments, which was acquired by Deutsche Bank in 2001. At Scudder he was also responsible for internal communications to its 4,400 employees in 10 countries.

Before working on Wall Street, he served as Assistant Director of Public Relations for Tulane University in New Orleans where he was responsible for managing publicity and media relations for Tulane’s business and medical schools, among others. He also served as the speechwriter for Tulane’s president for four years. While in New Orleans, he also wrote numerous business profiles and articles for a quarterly news magazine published by Bank One called Louisiana Business. Tom began his professional career as a writer and editor, first at The Sporting News in St. Louis and then at The Sentinel-Record, a daily newspaper in Arkansas.

Tom is a frequent guest lecturer and fundraiser for the Adult Congenital Heart Association, of which he was an active board member from 2005 – 2008. He has served on numerous committees and subcommittees for this and other charitable and non-profit endeavors. In 2008, he was one of 25 runners from around the world chosen by the Medtronic Corporation as a Global Hero, a program that invites runners with medical devices to participate in the Twin Cities Marathon.

Tom earned a BA degree in English from Saint Louis University and his MBA in Marketing & Finance from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. He is married with three children and resides in Orono, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis.
